The Snails is a rock-and-roll band that appears throughout the Snail Bob series. It consists of three different snails. The first is blue and has buck teeth, along with a baseball cap and blonde hair. The second is somewhat fat and has thick eyebrows. The third wears a punk outfit, with pointy hair, a leather jacket, and glasses.
They first appear in Snail Bob 2, where Snail Bob must trick all three of them into falling into a pit so that he can cross over them. They climb out offscreen and appear later, playing in the titular band. The fat snail plays the drums, the punk snail plays the electric guitar, and the nerd snail plays the trumpet. To get past them, you must push three buttons and a lever. Fat Snail and Nerd Snail later appear at Grandpa Snail's birthday party, bearing gifts.
They reappear in Snail Bob 5, enjoying Singer Snail's concert. Snail Bob tricks his way past them to the front row by setting off traps. Fat Snail falls down another pit, Nerd Snail is catapulted into the ceiling, and Punk Snail has a stage light fall on top of him. This stands to reason as one of the cruelest things Bob has done.
Fat Snail and Nerd Snail make their third appearances in Snail Bob 8. Nerd Snail first appears as an army of snails going scuba diving: Snail Bob must use a traffic light to stop them long enough to get past. Later, Fat Snail and Nerd Snail are seen running hamster wheels, powering electric traps. Snail Bob must free them both in order to get past the traps. It is unknown why Punk Snail does not appear. It is possible he did not survive being hit by the stage light.
Note that all three members of the Snails appear in Snail Bob (Mobile Game). It is unknown if they will appear in Snail Bob 3 (Mobile Game).
